| Regatta Regulations
Races will be held under the FISA Rules of Racing as amended from time to time. A rower may compete as a Master from the beginning of the year during which he or she attains the age of 27. A crew's age is determined by rounding down to the highest contained integer of the aggregate mean age of its rowers. (For example, the age of a crew whose rowers have a mean age of 54.9 is 54). Age categories do not apply to coxswains. Female coxswains will be permitted in men's crews, and vice versa. | In mixed crew events, half the crew, excluding coxswain, shall be women and half men. The coxswain may be of either sex. The minimum weight of the coxswain is to be 50kg. Each competitor shall be responsible for his or her own health and fitness and must be in a position to prove his or her age by production of an official document. Members of the same crew shall compete wearing uniform clothing. The regulation regarding uniform clothing will not be enforced in mixed crews. |
