Boat Rentals for non-mixed events has closed
There are many rowing clubs in St. Catharines and Niagara who compete on our rowing course several times each year and own very significant fleets of equipment that we expect will make boats available for hire. |
There are also many boat manufacturers in Canada and the United States (Kaschper, Fluidesign) that are within a day's driving distance of St. Catharines and are also very interested in providing equipment at this event.

| Boat rental fees will be as follows: $35 CDN (~24 euros) per seat/per hour. Taxes as applicable. Only entries through the on-line process will be accepted. Entry deadline will be Monday, August 2nd, 2010 (11:59pm EDST) for Men's and Women's events, and Tuesday, August 3rd, 2010 (6:00pm EDST) for Mixed events. The following types of boats will be available for rent: 8+, 4+, 4-, 4x, 2-, 2x and 1x. All boats will be conventionally rigged, and oars are included in the rental price. Eligibility for boat rental: The Local Organizing Committee requires that participants indicate their boat rental needs at the time of registration, or prior to the registration deadline on August 2nd, 2010 at 11:59pm EDST. First priority for boat rentals will be given to crews travelling the furthest to reach the regatta. Competitors are urged to submit early applications for boat rentals as soon as possible once boat rental registration becomes available. Competitors from Canada and the United States are strongly encouraged to bring their own boats if at all possible. |

Please note that all participants must wear socks in order to row in a rented boat. |
